Task Before First Class

Darling Harbour
This photo was taken last year during a  UNSW Photoclub excursion on Saturday night at Darling Harbour. Taking pictures of fireworks requires a stead hand as well as a tripod due to the long exposures necessary in order to get enough light for a picture to show through. This picture was my personal favourite out of a total of approximately 80 exposures that night and has been one of the greatest landscape pictures that I have shot. Long exposures of fireworks, any landscape of that matter are a luck based game whereby one photograph may look just average, but a further second longer exposure would have made it spectacular.
